After further ascending the Kala Pathar you will reach the Everest base camp with south west face of Mount Everest at your front. It will be just like a dream come true.
The scenic beauty is so exhilarating it cannot be explained in words.
Everest base camp trek needs a lot of physical activity and stamina because as the altitude increases the oxygen level declines and you will get more tired with very little exertion. So you should be perfectly fit both physically and mentally. You should be prepared for the strenuous journey. You should also check your luggage and dress. The temperature variation is great along the trek. It’s comparatively warmer at the start of trek and gets colder and colder along the trek so you should be properly dressed. Also be sure to carry your sunglasses because the sunlight reflecting from snow can cause permanent blindness. The asthmatic people should be very careful to avoid the dry and cold air which can aggravate the breathing problems. But the best thing is once you reach the Everest base camp you will forget all the efforts and problems. The gigantic Everest and the mountains in the area will definitely take your breath away at the first glimpse.
